Terms & Conditions

Please read these Award rules carefully. If you enter the awards we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

1.

Entrants of the Bernard Matthews Youth awards must be:
(a) A Norfolk or Suffolk resident; and
(b) Between 11 - 18 years old by the closing date of the competition 16 December 2009.

2.

Award event will take place on the evening of Tuesday 16 February 2010 in Norwich.

3.

No purchase necessary.

4.

Entrants may enter as many categories as they like.

5.

Entrants may enter online via the website or by downloading the entry form and posting their submission.

6.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

7.

The closing date for each category is 5.00pm on Wednesday 16th December 2009.

8.

Shortlisted entrants will be notified by post and e-mail. The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9.

By entering the competition the winners and those shortlisted agree to participate in promotional activity and material as Bernard Matthews Youth Awards may require.

10.

The panel of judges for each competition will be comprised of representatives of Bernard Matthews, Open, the EDP and Duke of Edinburgh Award's Scheme.

11.

The £1,000 prize bursary for each category will not be transferable to another person.

12.

No part of the £1,000 prize bursary for each category is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

13.

Prize money must be allocated within 6 months of the fund being awarded

14.

If a requested prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.

15.

Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

16.

This award scheme is being run by Bernard Matthews Ltd.

17.

Please read our Privacy Policy, which tells you how we use any personal information, we may collect about you by entering the Awards scheme.

18.

Bernard Matthews Ltd reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Bernard Matthews Ltd may also create rules, which will apply to a specific category only. If we do this, we will publish the amended category rules and/or specific category rules on the relevant category page.

19.

Bernard Matthews Ltd employees or their family members cannot be entered for a Bernard Matthews Youth Award.
