What's it all about?
Bernard Matthews Youth Awards have been set up to recognise and reward young people's success and achievements in Norfolk and Suffolk and to celebrate, with pride, the young people in our region - just like you!
This is our second year of running the Bernard Matthews Youth Awards. If you want to know what it takes to be a winner take a look at
Winners 2009 and see who won what and why!
We've teamed up with the
DofE Charity,
OPEN - the brand new £12m venue built especially for 12-25 year olds and the
Eastern Daily Press because, like us, they would like to promote positive news stories and comments about people your age. We know you're amazingly talented and inspiring, so why not win an award for it?
Just tell us what you've been doing by filling in an entry form and you could win £1,000 of award money. This could help make a dream come true, get a team kitted out or help with a club or group you're involved in - the possibilities are endless.
If you're between the ages of 11 and 18 on the 16th December 2009 and living in Norfolk or Suffolk, we want to hear all about the talent you have, the challenges you've overcome and your achievements and ambitions.
We are waiting to hear from you - what are you waiting for? Check out the site for the award categories and details on how to enter. If you need more information here you are...
The closing date for entries is
Wednesday 16th December 2009
