An audience of 300 guests enjoyed entertainment from talented young performers from The Garage including beat boxing, hip hop, street dance and theatre.

Bernard Matthews Youth Awards have been set up to recognise and reward young people's success and achievements in Norfolk and Suffolk and to celebrate, with pride, the young people in our region - just like you!

It's our fourth year of running the Bernard Matthews Youth Awards. If you want to know what it takes to be a winner take a look at Winners 2011 and see who won what and why!

We've teamed up with the Eastern Daily Press, DofE Charity, OPEN and the The Garage because, like us, they would like to promote positive news stories and comments about people your age. We know you're amazingly talented and inspiring, so why not win an award for it?

Just tell us what you've been doing by filling in an entry form* and you could win £1,000 of award money. This could help make a dream come true, get a team kitted out or help with a club or group you're involved in - the possibilities are endless.

If you're between the ages of 11 and 18 on the 20th July 2012 and living in Norfolk or Suffolk, we want to hear all about the talent you have, the challenges you've overcome and your achievements and ambitions.

Everyone has a passion, something they are firmly committed to. For us it's championing the benefits of eating a healthy, nutritious and sustainable food, while for others it might be their music, sport or their chosen charity.
